I'm the first to admit it: I'm a huge nerd.
I am constantly plugged in to the world around me, whether it is research, news, the latest trending video or simply a friend's most recent tweet. I need to know, and I need to know now.
Since graduating from the Missouri School of Journalism in December 2009, I have been working in the marketing world, and am currently a Content Strategist at Integrity. Previously, I held the position of a New Media Specialist, which can be explained as a hybrid between a digital strategist, community manager and copywriter. Each day for me is spent reading, writing, researching and seeking the best of the advertising and marketing industries.
My training is that of a journalist: I hold a Bachelor of Journalism degree in Convergence Journalism, with a specialization in Print Editing. I also have minors in English and French, and have a strong love of punctuation and syntax.
When I'm not attached to my laptop or Blackberry, I am exploring new music and movies, traveling, writing and fiercely supporting my hometown Cleveland sports teams and all things Mizzou.
